Aventus is one of the most famous men's fragrances of the last twenty years, and "smells like Aventus" is one of the most searched fragrance phrases in Canada.
We make Aventura, our own extrait de parfum inspired by the scent profile of Aventus. So we are not neutral. But we would rather tell you plainly where it follows the original and where it differs.
What Aventus smells like
Bright pineapple, blackcurrant and a little crisp apple up top. Then it settles into smoky birch and patchouli over a musky base. Sweet fruit sitting on campfire smoke, basically. That contrast is why so many people made it their signature.
How Aventura compares
Aventura follows the same structure: a pineapple, bergamot, blackcurrant and apple opening, a smoky birch, patchouli, rose and jasmine heart, and a musk, oakmoss, ambergris and vanilla dry down.
It is not identical, and we will not pretend it is. Aventura's opening is a little sweeter and denser, and the dry down runs slightly warmer. If you love that pineapple-and-smoke idea, you will recognize it straight away.
Concentration
Aventura is an extrait de parfum, the strongest standard perfume concentration. That is why it is made for long wear. As with any fragrance, how long it lasts on you depends on your skin and the weather.
